From dynamic EQ adjustments to meticulous leveling and compression, every element of your track is fine-tuned to perfection. What We Offer: Mixing: Bringing clarity, balance, and depth to every instrument, vocal, and effect in your track. Mastering: Ensuring your track is loud, clear, and optimized for all formats (streaming, CD, vinyl, and more). Tailored to Your Vision: Alex will work closely with you to understand your artistic intent and enhance your track's unique sound. Whether you’re preparing for an album release, a single drop, or need a polished demo, our Mixing and Mastering service will provide you with a final product that sounds professionally crafted and ready for the world to hear. At Carousel Studios, we are committed to delivering the highest quality of work for every track we mix and master. To ensure we provide you with the best possible result, we require that all audio stems—including drums, bass, guitars, vocals, and any other elements—be properly recorded before we begin the mixing and mastering process. Stem Submission Requirements: Before we can accept a mixing and mastering project, we ask that clients provide a set of raw, unprocessed audio stems for review. This is a crucial step for the following reasons: Ensuring Recording Quality: The quality of the stems directly affects the final mix. By reviewing your raw audio stems, we can assess whether they have been recorded cleanly and without unwanted noise, distortion, or clipping. This allows us to achieve the best possible sound in the final product. Optimal Sound Design: Clean, well-recorded stems give us the flexibility to enhance the sound and balance of each instrument, as well as their dynamics throughout the track. Properly recorded audio provides us with the foundation we need to create a polished, professional mix. Preventing Unnecessary Revisions: If the stems are not up to standard, it may lead to additional revisions and delays in the mixing process. Our goal is to address any potential issues upfront so we can focus on delivering the best product without unnecessary back-and-forth. What We Expect: Clean, Untreated Stems: All stems should be raw and free from heavy processing (no heavy compression, EQ, or effects). Proper File Format: Stems should be provided in a high-quality, uncompressed format (such as WAV or AIFF). No Clipping or Distortion: Ensure all audio stems are recorded at appropriate levels, free from clipping or excessive distortion. Complete Stem Set: All instrumental and vocal stems that will be part of the mix should be included (e.g., drums, bass, guitars, keys, lead vocals, harmonies, backing vocals, etc.) Revisions Policy: We understand that the creative process is collaborative and may require some fine-tuning. To ensure your track sounds exactly how you envision it, we offer up to 3 revisions as part of the mixing and mastering service. These revisions cover small adjustments to levels, EQ, effects, or any other mix elements.
